  Sweet Bites is to the right of the post office in McLean (in the next office building) and a wonderful addition to the "downtown" area. Homemade treats abound and are well worth sampling: biscuits, muffins, quiche, cupcakes, lemon squares and other delicious daily surprises. Whether you want a quick cup of coffee or a leisurely conversation, the cafe is bright, comfortable and welcoming. After the first visit you will return many times. Welcome Sweet Bites!

  I accidentally found this place while lost in McLean one day. I decided to stop in because as I passed it, the sweet smell of baked goods was overwhelming.
  
  That's was two weeks ago and now I've gone back every weekday since. They have both sweet and savory items. Everything from chocolate chip cookies to quiche. My favorite are the buttermilk bicuits. I drool just thinking about them.
  
  I have tried biscuits from almost every state in the US but the biscuits from Sweet Bites are in my top 5.
  
  I have tried a new item everyday since I found this place, and each new item was amazing and delicious. Their pies, cookies, sandwiches, quiches are all great quality and you will be hooked once you try it out

  This little shop is conveniently located next to my new doctor's office, so naturally after my checkup I stopped in to grab some cupcakes for the family. They were okay, but nothing special. For the price of $3.50 each, I would expect (and you can in the area) to get a much better cupcake. The flavors were pretty good, but the cake itself was too dense and dry and the frosting was too hard. I got a salted caramel (couldn't even taste the caramel, only the chocolate cake and I don't think there was actually any salt), a chocolate with vanilla frosting, a lemon, and a red velvet. My family and I all agree that there were just ok.
